Jon Maestro could be the next big thing in Charlotte, North Carolina’s quickly growing music scene. Maestro started off taking an interest in music at a very young age, mostly in the drums and in the piano. Both of which still have a big impact in his music creating process today. Maestro grew up in the church so he listened to nothing but gospel music until he was almost ten years old. After this, Maestro had many influences in Hip-Hop through artists such as Dipset, Kanye, T.I., Lil Wayne and more.
Some of Maestro’s favorite projects include Too Smooves “Off The Porch” as well as Robyington’s “Vacation” project. Vacation includes a large variety of different vibes and sounds from both Maestro and Extraterrestrial Music Group colleague Robyington as well, who also happens to be from Charlotte as well.
Being a young and upcoming producer, Maestro gained influence from other producers such as Manny Fresh, Scott Storch, Kanye, ArabMusik, Zaytoven and many more. If Maestro can go back and change anything since the beginning it would simply be wishing he started networking sooner. Now that Maestro is making tremendous moves such as releasing entire projects with artists, signing to Extraterrestrial Music Group and more, Maestro plans to soon work with big shots in the industry. Specifically, Maestro would love to work with Roddy Ricch, NLE Choppa, MoneyMan and more.
What Maestro plans to do with Extraterrestrial Music Group is establish a brand and build a genuine following. Maestro plans on building so much that he is looked at as a timeless producer. Someone who you can play 20–30 years from now and the songs still be nothing but classics!
